In the
dream
In the dream I dreamt, in the world I painted
You were the flower that brightened the landscape
The moon that banished the darkness of the night
In the waking world, where I work the dream in sweat and toil
Though unknown as yet, and still to be beheld
You are the love that inspires me, the smile that brightens my
heart
But I know this world; it is full of twists and turns
I shall still bless the creator should it be he made you for
another
For my world would be poorer had he not made you
